★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well stocked. Good service but the entrence to the store through the vegie section. Is very cramped and hard to navigate when trying to get through there. Would be fustrating for someone in a wheelchair chair. Would be nice if they could open that part up a bit somehow

Amazing staff friendly , ?helpful patient Xtra good service for elderly.? Always willing nothing to much to ask.
They stock items you often won't get in other stores and always happy to order in for you.
You leave feeling a valued customer. Choose your time to shop.
Good parking and always a helping hand to lift groceries into yr vehicle.
Good old fashioned service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems many people rate this new world on friendly staff….. unfortunately this was not my experience. The evening I was in the operators were talking amongst themselves and made it clear I was inconveniencing then in purchasing my groceries. A very fake politeness…… you know that young person look when they roll their eyes at you! This is the first new world I have been to in the north island, and I won’t be going back. Shelves were messy and empty….. it seemed unclean and uncared for. Such a shame as new world is my go to. Cambridge Countdown will now be our local! Also the Carpark had no lighting at night either!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give five stars because most of the staff are great, I’n fact they’re more than great. However, as usual the few ruin it for the many as there is a short and very balding “manager” there who will go out of his way to be nasty and rude when you’re just doing your shopping and haven’t even spoken to anyone since entering the store. Apart from the short, balding “manager” the New World Cambridge staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
