Buy a New World Gift Card from your local store today. New World Gift Cards are available to purchase from the Gift Station, located at the Service Desk in all New World stores.
Corporate gifts
New World Gift Cards are ideal for corporate gifts or raffles. To make an enquiry about a bulk order of Gift Cards, download the order form and send an email to [email protected] for North Island customers, or [email protected] for South Island customers. Our gift card team will be able to assist you.
Checking your Gift Card balance.
The balance of your Gift Card will be printed on a receipt when you do your shop, otherwise head to the Service Desk in store and our friendly team can check it for you. Check your Gift Card balance online.
New World Gift Card Terms and Conditions
- Please treat this card as cash. It cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- This card, once activated, may be redeemed for purchases at any New World store. It cannot be accepted for use at our stores' fuel sites or exchanged for cash.
- The funds available will be verified on request or at time of use.
- No change is given and any balance that remains on the card can only be used against future purchases at New World stores.
- This card expires two years after purchase. Any balance that remains on the card after expiry will not be available for use.

โ โ โ โ โ I can't choose zero star. Very Bad. I bought a box of YB sushi in New World Metro Auckland at 17:16 on Jan. 16, 2021. The salmon and avocado sushi looked not bad though it was not just freshly made. I took it back home to eat at about 18:30. When I ate the last piece of the 10 piece of sushi. I chewed a piece of foreign object, a short hard whit strip out of the sushi. I almost threw up and was disgusted. Poor food safety for YB sushi! Thumb down!

โ โ โ โ โ The staff are friendly and fantastic to deal with. Unfortunately the shop is very small like an Australian deli. They have limited stock. I believe they focus on needs of office workers who work in that area. But they on the whole are there customers. So it's great planning. But don't expect to go there for the weekly shop it won't happen

โ โ โ โ โ Every time I came to here I always see very nice staff but today the one of staff (lady)sheโs very rude to me. I asked her very nice but the answer is so rude. She pointed her finger on the label and she said Can you see that ! So tab your club card ?( whatโs wrong I do? Or you did like this just young people?) if i saw you do this again with another people or me, I will put your name on here and let your manager know that time.

I found that when I brought my 16 year old cat in on her feline mobile, there were no easy entrance and exit points for my lovely girl on wheels. I complained to the manager, Steven, about this and was met with an exhausted eye roll. Please work on this xx

โ โ โ โ โ Nicest presentable supermarket in the heart of Auckland CBD. Only disappointment was the problem when the checkout supervisor who told me I couldn't use my Farmers card to pay for my groceries ( although the self service till accepted the card and supervisor continued to BS me that New World don't receive payment from Farmers Finance. After 20 minutes of debating and me explaining NW had accepted it on previous occasions, common sense prevailed when supervisor called owner who confirmed Farmers card was accepted. I suspect further training would help avoid the skirmishes. However, I will still use this supermarket because I like there high standards of cleanliness. Plus, the nicest security guard guy offered me a mask as I forgot mine. So a plus in the end.
