★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A better range of products than the New World stores in Kawerau or Opotiki. I like the expanded self-checkout. They always have lamb mince. The others, including Countdown, don't. Lots of parking. It's a great location, right downtown. I'm glad I have an electric car and can get to this store without actually spending any money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well in general staff are loverly very helpful. BUT. Sadly the bakery in New World is the worst I have ever come across If you get there by 10/10.30 there won’t be any specialty loafs of bread. Plenty of Rolls. I asked If there was going to be any more and was told no all sold out. So I went there for a ciabatta loaf at 9 am only 2 loafs. Still lots of Ciabatta rolls which is not what I wanted. Also noticed 1litre value milk for the last few weeks you can only get Light blue not Dark blue. Why when other places don’t have a problem. I even asked the milk man stacking shelves dosnt make a lot of sense to me.
