★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are extremely high - many items are 50% more expensive than paknsave just 10km away, store layout doesn't make sense - the milk is right at the back, with no cream nearby, and self checkout doesn't have paywave. definitely not shopping here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited the store twice and both times experienced rudeness or pressure in "inforcing" unreadable strict mask and distancing policies. These people has been given too much power over customs...feels like they do you favour letting you in to the store. Shame!

this lady provided the worst checkout experience at New World. She had such a bizarre eye contact like I owed her hundreds. She was rude and impolite in speaking like 'u have to...!' The store has to train her on how to grow up and respect the customers in a good manner!!
Message to Sophie, learn how to be professional altho u are just a cashier. it's a job still! :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The approach by staff and management regarding masks despite having a mask exemption has resulted in me and my whole family actively avoiding this place, despite it being my local.
It's not okay to ask for the email I received regarding details to my personal health problems.
It is also not okay to assume I don't have an exemption. Instead of politely asking 'do you have an exemption?' you guys block the entrance and say 'you can't come in without a mask' and shove a box of masks in ones face. Then proceed to make a loud speaker announcement saying everyone must wear a mask.
Shame on you guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service would be an understatement for my experience in this store. Pointed out they fraudulently sold me a 500g pack of bacon that weighed 300g and the following complaint was poorly handled on many fronts. I will be taking my custom elsewhere and would advise everybody else to do the same.
