β β β β β For health & safety reasons NZ Couriers have a policy of not delivering past a closed gate. As I have no idea when they're about to deliver, this means they never deliver to my door, even when I'm home. I bulk buy and get a lot of deliveries and they're the only company to do this. I'm forced to collect some pretty heavy parcels myself from a drop-off point during narrow business hours. Be aware that if you use NZ Couriers you're paying for half a service for many of your customers.

β β β β β This is not a review of this branch of New Zealand Couriers, but a review of the company itself.
If you're a new business looking to ship across the country or internationally, steer well clear of these guys.
In excess of a year ago I was using this company to ship parcels, both within NZ and outside of it.
I did end up switching as an assortment of tracked international parcels never made it to their destination, and whilst the refund process was ridiculousΒ and extensive, I did, eventually, months and many emails later, get reimbursed.
My issue with this company comes recently.
A parcel I sent in excess of a year ago, was recently returned to me as undeliverable.
This was accompanied with a bill of $40, which cost more than the initial shipping cost, and likely the item itself.
When queried why I was being invoiced for the return of a parcel, that I had paid them to ship, they simply stated "This is a return charge on an item that was returned back to nz via postal service."
To bill me in an attempt to ship the item to the correct person, then to bill me significantly more to return an expired, not required product a year later continues to baffle me.
I have expressed this, and not received any contact since January the 5th.
Very disappointed with the service and won't be using them again.

β β β β β We received a "you missed a delivery" card today. The code on the delivery card has "already been used" and can't be entered on the website for tracking. Calling their phone line to enquire, I couldn't get through - after waiting through the phone tree to the correct option, I got a "your call can't be received from this location" message. I'd lodge an enquiry, but they won't let you unless you have a tracking number. Or maybe at least a working barcode. I am expecting a parcel from overseas to finally arrive within the next day or so - the tracking number I have for that parcel didn't work. Not the first time this company has been a real hassle... No idea what to do to get my parcel back now. update - turns out I was sent a present that someone ordered online so I got the tracking code off them, so that solves my problem, but yeah not being able to get in contact with them was a real hassle.

β β β β β If I could give zero stars I would. Apparently our parcel was delivered to our "secure" and locked mailbox last Wednesday. But it must be invisible because it's not there. Apparently now our courier is isolating and cant be called to check on the delivery details. Seems strange that my package was RATs tests and now hes sick. Seems he may have thought they would be useful. You pay for a service which they dont provide and then they dont want to sort it.out. REALLY POOR FORM NZ COURIERS!!

β β β β β Not getting a service is becoming the norm rather than the exception. 3 weeks after pick up and still no parcel, follow ups only getting you false promises. All my other parcels from other couriers are getting delivered, so it must be a NZ Courier issue rather than the famous covid excuse.
