We had a single car accident on 25/09/2019 and was guided by the officer to the station, right after an accident we are traumatized and under stress. While being in the police station the stress didn't add on yet instead much released of it, the officer is very friendly and helpful. Switch on the heater and offer us warm water making sure our well being is taken care of, provide us a local fixed phone line to call for help. The investigating and interview process is done professionally and we are timely updated with information as and when we needed more help and advice. After all being done, the officer went an extra mile to send us back to our hotel. Knowing that we are without transportation and not letting us to walk a distance back under cold winter season. This display of kindness deeply touches our heart and we felt more warm to receive it from local friendly n helpful kiwi not just a police officer. Outstanding and amazing... Our car rental company APEX however displayed otherwise didn't wanted to provide any help or assistance, only to insist that we find our own way return to Queenstown branch to discuss the replacement car ASAP. But in the end when we managed to get back to their office at QT, only to report and file in accident report. No sympathy no compassion no help no mercy at the end of accident report just tell me no replacement car, no discussion of it at all which in the 1st place they said that we'll discuss it at branch office? Really disappointed with APEX car rental.
