Delivery date of product not honored - calling customer service results in phone being hung up and questions not answered.
Do not expect courtesy phone calls - you will need to do all the chasing up.
My 8 month pregnant wife cannot continue to not have a couch at home.
No remedial solution offered, no explanation given, promises of emails providing explanation not given.
We are now several month's over the promised delivery period.

β β β β β We have bought several pieces of furniture over the last couple of months through Kayla at Nick Scali Mt Wellington. She has always been very helpful and pleasant, even when the store is busy. The furniture is modern and good quality, it is a joy to shop there.

β β β β β Amazing experience at the Mt Wellington store. Ross couldnβt have been more helpful, literally walking up and down the store with me to show me all the options and answering my questions. He was super knowledgeable and made choosing the right sofa easy. Would recommend him and Nick Scali to anyone.

β β β β β The worst experience we have ever had in our entire life in New Zealand or even abroad.
First of all, the sales person deliberately hid the fact that our sofa set is manufactured overseas. We have been waiting for the delivery for approx. 16 weeks and whenever we called to enquire, they just say it is written in the contract!
And finally on the delivery day, the driver advised that according to the policy, they will not be taking the wrapping package with them which was really disappointing and frustrating. I called Customer Service but no one really cares and the only answer I get is that "it is there in the contract".
Well, you might be covered by the terms of the agreement that we trusted the sales person on the purchase day and took her words without reading the entire booklet she handed to us, but from a reputation point of view, trust me, it doesn't look good. Lying to your customers and then saying it is there in the contract doens't really help. Please take a look at the photo to see the mess your team left behind.

β β β β β We went to the St Lukes one, the customer service was very poor. The service people only said Hi ones and the were just hanging around talking to each other. Didn't ask if we needed help. Quality of furniture is average but maybe worth the price.

β β β β β Salesman told me price includes delivery at time of purchase. Later got notified to pay driver $115 upon delivery. Rang the store to sort out with them but basically got told βtoo bad suckerβ. Deceived, not a happy customer

β β β β β Amazing, genuine customer service from the minute I stepped foot into the showroom to the very end of the process dealing with the delivery service guys β they went above and beyond to get our 2.4m x 1.1m table up four very awkward levels and then put it all together too. And then the quality of the product.. stunning. So happy. 5 stars!

β β β β β Worst customer service I have ever encountered here in NZ. The manager has no empathy, does not listen, and is very closed minded. I ordered a bed frame which unfortunately did not fit the bedroom of the house we moved into. I wasnβt planning on canceling my order but was asking for help to resell given that it will not fit the purpose as it was too big and cannot fit in the bedroom. It was not a change of mind regarding the purchase as I would love to have the bed frame only if it will fit the bedroom. The bed frame in fact has not arrived and was not delivered yet when I requested help with this purchase. This was not the only furniture I purchased and was hoping for some customer empathy or at least loyalty. However, this was not the case and in fact just the worst customer experience I ever had. I will never ever purchase anything again from Nick Scali. It says they are kiwi owned, but what I have experienced is far off from the kiwi culture I am used to and that I know of.
