★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent spot for a walk. Usually quiet and hardly any others around. Native birds can been seen and heard singing in the trees. The walk to the falls can be regarded as a bit steep for some but it is worth the effort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We, a party of three adults and three kids walked to the Nichols falls from leith valley. It was somewhat steep in certain places. There were a few muddy spots also. Overall, this wasn't a steep walk. Little ones may need help at certain places. The falls at the end of the end of the walk is worth the effort. Overall, a good walk on a nice day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicols Falls is a real gem hidden at the end of this Track.This is probably the most beautiful waterfall in Dunedin. The track is slippery. it is more slippery and also danger If walking along the river instead the track.
