P	Polo Salazar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's about a 25-30 minute trek through muddy, steep trails. Need flashlights if going in the dark. Fairly small waterfall. Take gum boots for sure because you will get dirty.

As earlier said the track itself is not kept at the same standard as many other walks. But there is a lot of tracks in worse conditions
L	Liam Farley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cool place and that is so close to town. Still in it basically. Make sure to go up the river a bit to see them really in action. A bit slippery on rocks but pretty easy and well worth it. It doesn't have to be completely dark to see them too as it's in a gulley with over hanging trees.

The walk to the waterfall was quite challenging, I would recommend using hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers, specially if it's been raining. Bring a torch if you are going at dusk. Very beautiful and peaceful

m	marcpeyroux on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For my first time this morning I walked along the track leading to see the huge waterfall beside the Creek with Trixie Vosseler the support worker The walk level was hard and rough and bit wet with a lot of steep paths in Leith Valley. We had a walking pole while I held another hand on some small tree stems while looking out for spiral like steps. As I had many years experience with the Bush walks including my favourite Dunedin city walks called Roas Creek. About two weeks ago when I saw a photo of a similar waterfall on Instagram I thought there with a question. Then someone commented Nichold Fall! Led me to explore somewhere new for challenges. Also noticed glow worms on one side of the track after a junction to the waterfall has the signs shown.ehich way to go.
