About Nocton Woolshed
Our Story
For many years our woolshed remained idle. The land around us has changed from sheep to grazing cows. Then one day our daughter got engaged! A few days later we got this phone call - "Mum and Dad - can we get married in the wool shed?" Well a small project turned into a larger project. It is such a beautiful spot, we decided that we should do the job "properly" and turn the woolshed in to a venue that others could hire - and so began the "Nocton Woolshed"

She truly brought my wedding to life following lockdown. We were the first wedding in Auckland following the introduction of the traffic light system, and she ensured that everything was in place for our big day. Thank you so much, Nikki, for everything! You are unquestionably an angel! We appreciate all of the effort you put in behind the scenes to make our day enjoyable and relaxed. The Nocton Woolshed will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The view and surroundings are just stunning, as are the photographs shot =)
