★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My package arrived to this NZ Post Kerikeri as it was supposed to. I went to pick it up the flowing morning only to learn it was sent away to return to sender. The woman at the counter claimed the package was not addressed properly (clearly is was if it made it to exactly where it was suppose to go). She was inconsiderate with zero interest in helping me understand how or why my package was sent away. I spent the rest of my day on the phone with NZ Post and DHL (the courier who delivered my package) to figure out why my package was sent away. Everything checked out as accurate. It came down to the Kerikeri Post. Now I will sit and wait 5 days to find out whether my package can be redirected to me. The package traveled flawlessly and quickly all the way to Kerikeri from California during Covid and the holidays, only to get messed up at this post shop. Consider other options before shipping to here, or be prepared for the struggle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there today & stood at the counter and waited while 2 staff had a conversation, they saw us there and chose to ignore us. When we were finally served the lady with the foreign accent was pretty blunt & rude! A smile would of been nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a joke! Its the second time I've been this month & the station thats used to pack/address your parcels to was full. Its the size of a small coffee table with 1 person at each end. I found a space to address my card on a shelf, not invading anyone's space & was told not to do that...I found another shelf & was told not to that as well & to be patient. I stood there for 10mins & decided I'll sit on the floor & address my card, once again not invading anyone's space. Was told I couldnt do that either. Feeling frustrated I walked out & was asked if I'd paid for my card!! Avoid the little the man with the glasses, he has no idea of customer satisfaction!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Witnessed the proprietor be quite rude to two customers before me. They seem to have a high staff turnover and I can understand why. Big long queues at both counters and one staff member to man each (is often like this when I am there). Grumpy proprietor who took himself off to lunch not worried about the long queues, but as the lady who was next to me pointed out it was probably a good thing. He obviously needed a break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing service. Called with advance notice that I was coming to collect a package and could they have it ready as was cutting it fine time-wise. Really needed to collect the parcel. I arrived before closing time, yet staff had closed early and would not let me in despite having staff there talking. Where’s your community spirit?
