★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used NZ Van Lines to move from Turangi to Warkworth- north of Auckland. Communication with them via email or phone was easy and Marc always responded promptly. We were able to get a quote, and organise moving dates easily. Our items were picked up from a storage unit, some items were repacked for moving which was all included. Items were dropped off at our new property on the agreed date, and the movers were able to unload the truck and place furniture where directed. There was some minor damage to few items, i.e. chipped picture frame, but very minor considering how much we moved. I would use their services again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leon and Jameson did a great job, with additional assistance from a wider team who came to assist. All items were wrapped well and transported safely from Auckland to Waikato. Very impressed with the service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give a negative star result, I would. I don't know where to start with our experience. We were moving Mum's estate. Movers came into the house during Level 3 without masks. They smoked in the garage. Everything was labelled as to destination and belongings were in separate areas - all labelled inside and outside drawers, cupboards etc ( as going to three destinations (as going to three destinations). Asked for owner packed goods to be repacked (my Mum had cancer so we had started sorting her belongings over a long period of time). They refused. No rhyme or reason to the unprofessional quality of the packing they did. Lots of property broken or damaged. A lot of goods missing - not delivered to any destination so presumably stolen. A huge amount of belongings sent to wrong address - who then gave their own possessions to children as they thought what was delivered a week before the others was theirs. NZ Van Lines took no responsibility and did not even offer to get goods back to rightful owners. NZ Van Lines forwarded claims to insurer who refused to cover the misdelivered or stolen / 'missing' goods. We are thousands out of pocket. NZ Van Lines have refused to answer emails and have taken no responsibility. The worst of all of this is the total disregard and disrespect for my mother's belongings. The actions and behaviour of NZ Van Lines is reprehensible to say the least. I wish I had followed my 'gut feeling' and reported this matter to the Police. I chose not to as the first couple of emails I had from Van Lines were promising in looking as though they were going to work with us in sorting this mess. Then nothing... My advice - be very careful who you trust. This company is far from trustworthy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally unreliable, promise everything but they deliver nothing. Left us stranded without a mover after postponing us three times but promising us they could still meet our moving date. So we declined the offer of other mover as Van Lines are supposed to be the best (joke). Then they wasted two hours of our time assessing our chattels only to phone back the next day and say "sorry we can't move on those days after all." Basically a dishonest and unreliable firm to deal with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NZ Van Lines was our mover's partner here in NZ. Our items were moved from Australia to NZ so this review is only with regards to the delivery process.
Nonetheless, I was quite happy with their team. Allison in particular was very responsive in emails and everyone that I've spoken to as well in the Operations were friendly and helpful. Our items were delivered on time once it was here in NZ and our rubbish boxes (after unpacking) were also picked up with within a reasonable time considering I was told they were understaffed due to Omicron cases.
So well done to the whole team and keep it up! ?
