Very quiet, great pine plantation surrounding, and not far from Lake Tekapo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The camp is nice, but poorly layed out if you are to keep to the nzmca RULES on parking up especially with a caravan !!! Half of the sites are not level so have plenty of chocks.
The DUST from the drives is really bad.
Location Perfect and quiet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favourite NZMCA park with the best views, access to the lake, easy walk along the lake to the town. Big forest park at the back for mountain biking and for those with dogs, closed outdoor area for dog training. Lots of space for motorhomes and caravans. Lots of rabbits as well in the area :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely park. Plenty to do. Walking and cycling tracks. Dog park next to it and a comfortable walk to the township. Don't believe the weather forecast if it says "rain". We had three sunny days with an odd minor shower.?

Walking, biking and disc golf accessible from park .
Best spot ofcourse is going down to hot pools for a relax. Lovely break. Traveling friend had the Chinese takeaways and recommends them.
