Sitting below Roys Hill in the Bridge Pa Triangle is Oak Estate. A small vineyard with only 3.5 ha planted in Chardonnay. In 2018 1000 vines of Chenin Blanc have been planted and Syrah and Tempranillo in 2021.
The Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District has been launched to celebrate and promote one of New Zealand’s premium winegrowing sub-regions.
It extends over more than 2,000 hectares on the western side of the Heretaunga plains and includes the largest concentration of vineyards in Hawke’s Bay.

β β β β β Absolutely loved this little place. There was seven in our group and we were well catered for. Got the scrumptious platter and did the wine tasting. Couldnβt get enough of the pΓ’tΓ© and burnt butter so bought some to go as well as a couple wines! Reasonable prices and look forward to going back when I visit Hawkes bay!

β β β β β We had a fabulous lunch at Oak wine Estate today. The Pork Belly was delicious and we loved the potatoes with a sensational dressing, yum. A very relaxing, friendly place and we definitely will come back.

β β β β β Was on the way to one of the bigger wineries in the area, but stumbled upon this little gem of a winery.
The prices for the drinks were very affordable compared to other places I had been to, and the service was super friendly and welcoming.
It has a very relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of seating out the back, and a few games to help pass the time.
I didn't try any of the food there, but it certainly looked and smelt good. A return trip will be on the cards one day.
