★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place! A random stop along the way turned out to be the best lunch during our trip across both NZ islands!
Stonegrill is a must try (we tried lamb), it's both a delicacy and an experience. Fried squid was great as well, melting in mouth instead of being rubbery as it sometimes happens with squid, especially in se asia.
Fireplace and warm welcoming service only added to a nice feeling in a cold autumn day.
Would definitely drive specially for this place if lived in surrounding towns :)

Staff was friendly, service was fast, and the food was tasty!
The halloumi sallad was good, but a bit small for me, don't get it if you know you have a big stomach! Otherwise portion sizes were good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a great experience today, coffee weak, only just warm, asked for trim got full milk and when queried the young girl who made it she was adamant she used trim but I saw her pour full cream into jug to heat and then in coffee cups. We have previously had great coffee here but not today
