No staff were wearing masks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly we received appalling value for money. We spent $77.80 on a large order for the whanau, and received about $15 worth. Small, dry, over cooked crumbed fish, ordered 6 Tarakihi and 1x Snapper - couldn't tell any difference in the fish supplied. Ordered 12x Scallops as a treat, but these appeared to have had the meat trimmed down, very disappointing practice considering the cost to the consumer. Lastly we asked for three scoops of chips, only charged for two, and shocked at what looked like one and a half scoops - at a push. Just a real disappointment. I could not recommend this chippery. Can understand if there was an honest mistake made here, and if the owners would be willing to rectify this, and offer some kind of partial refund or explanation, it would be genuinely appreciated. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New owners are lovely, fish is still fresh and well cooked, 4 stars because
1.need to get potatoe fritters please - doesn’t matter if small, other chip shops throw in extra... can’t be f&c worhout potato fritters.
2. Open some sundays and not others but details says open til 8pm... drive in from aramoho... nit cool, please leave a voice message if you’re not going to be open.
Other than that, the food is really good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome clean shop. The fish is always fresh and the takeaways are so delicious. A little bit dearer than your corner fish and chip shop, but the quality superceded our expectations. This is and has been my local fish and chip shop for quite some time now. ?
