Just happen we picked the most disgusting fish and chips takeaways Georges Fisheries had a saw stomach and diarrhea. Health department definitely needs to check this place out. The lady that served us was rude as hell. You dont even deserve a star

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not normally one to post a review but this time I had to. We ordered Georges last night and it was the worst fish I have EVER come across. Tasted & smelt so strong I felt like I was at a trawlers. Couldn’t eat more than a bite. Had to wash my hands straight away as the smell was all over them. My fish burger was ruined as the fish inside was the same. Chips were soggy & potato fritters undercooked.
Won’t be having Georges again. If I could give no stars, I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the fish and chips at George's. Its a local institution. Chicken salt can be asked for to be sprinkled on the food. Fish fillet is a decent size and chips are crispy.
