β β β β β Great value fish and chips. Battered fish was light with good crunch. Hand cut chips cooked perfectly. Great service too when ordering. We will be back!

β β β β β We splurged on the john dory, it was super fresh and perfectly cooked with a lovely light, crisp batter. The chips were excellent along with the chiefs sense of humour. 100% recommended.

β β β β β Wow, what a great fish n chip shop. The freshest fish I think I've had in a long time and home made style chips with the peel still on were fantastic. Will definitely be back.

β β β β β Beautiful! Chicken Burger with Cranberry sauce was amazing- chicken tender and moist in a light crunchy batter. Lovely chips and none of it wrapped up getting soggy in paper. Looking forward to returning again. Well done β

β β β β β Friendly staff and awesome fish and chips, best fish I've had in the North Island.
Yummy burgers too, simple but really nice and fresh. Also love that you can order online. Keep up the great work team! :)

β β β β β Any other fish and chip shop that offers only 14 items on their menu and blue cod at a whopping $9.50 a piece I would say is borderline lunacy. But here, it works. And it is incredible. I ordered one battered blue cod, one crumbed blue cod, one battered βfishβ (Rig) and a scoop of chips. Very nice environment. Menu engraved on individual wooden boards with the vintage vibe offered by Foxton Fizz and an original sign decal on the wall.
Not a Chinese dish, burger or shellfish item in sight on the menu. Which is great, as itβs all about the classic fish and chips. It shows the confidence the people involved have in their products.
Batter and crumb both crunchy, very thin, and properly coated. The fish fillets were nice and thick and cooked perfectly. The fish literally melted in the mouth, it was so light. 10/10. Even the Rig was great.
Hand-cut chips with the skin on. Full of flavour, well seasoned and brilliant with the fish. Also soak up malt vinegar nicely if thatβs your thing with hot chips too. Nothing about these I would change. 10/10.
Easily the best fish and chips in Foxton town. They have big competition down at the beach and it is early days yet but I look forward to seeing how this place does over time. If it remains consistent it may well be the best in all of Foxton.

β β β β β Best fish 'n chips I've had in years. Hand cut chips were epic! Fish nicely crumbed. Kumera and pumpkin fitters were different but yum too.

β β β β β Funky fish and chip shop on state high way . Thick piece of fish, coated in a light thin crispy batter. Very Moorish, was craving fish the next day. The store itself is a reasonable size with vintage interactive games on the wall. Fun to do while waiting for your meal. By far the best battered fish I've eaten on the north island.
