★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little motel tucked away in the back of Whitianga. The bed and pillows was comfortable, the shower had fantastic pressure and the kitchen was well appointed. The best thing though were the staff who went above and beyond by drying and folding our washing after we washed it! Highly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed our time here. Rooms are very clean. Service was great. Place is in very good location. Walking distance to the shops. We used the pool. Had a great rest .we used the kayak as well.Highly recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an amazing stay at this motel, my kids and I stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, there was plenty of space for all 5 of us! Nice kitchen and bathroom, shower pressure was amazing. Kids enjoyed the pool and kayaks and playing on the sand when the tide was out, walking distance to town was great and the managers were very helpful with knowing what times places were open. Loved the luxury modern feel as well as the family friendly vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great stay at Shearwater. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The owner Lynette is so accommodating and very friendly. There are also Kayaks available to use if you enjoy water sports. Would definitely recommend a stay at Shearwater.
Also, the famous Lost Spring and town center are just around the corner so the location is ideal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect resort style accomodation. Great rooms, comfortable beds and well appointed rooms.the whole complex is being upgraded. The pool area is fabulous great value for money. Kayak to use free of charge. Really awesome place to stay. And best of all direct access to estuary for a morning swim. Drinks on the deck overlooking the ocean. Will come stay again.
