โ โ โ โ โ We had a faux par when booking and selected the wrong date, upon realizing we had mucked up we tried phoning atleast 9 times over a 24 hour period only to get a very unprofessional sounding voicemail to speak with. So decided to email and requested a date change, when they finally came back to me they refused both a rebooking and or a full refund, no sympathy from the person representing the "resort" Even when I mentioned we were traveling with our 1 year old daughter. If I could give zero stars I would..... I will continue to fight for a refund all the while encouraging people NOT to stay here EVER!!!!

Be very careful before you book this via Booking.com!!! Unless you go real detailed through all of the small print, you wont find out until its to late the accommodation has building works going on!! Now, we booked a nice relaxing family break knowing the hotel had a pool, nothing to say pool wasn't usable, but if you find it relaxing listening to pneumatic drills, saws and hammering from 7:30am in the morning, then this location is for you!!
When the noise was raised with the hotel all we got was - you should have read the small print, hmmmm...now try and find it on the booking.com web page!! No!! It doesn't exactly jump out at you, there are keen to share info about DVD players, SKY TV,but not the fact you wont be able to hear them!! its 3 quarters of the way down your confirmation email, under additional info, which initially reads all about covid, but wait there it is right at the bottom. Its real disappointing after saving up for a relaxing break companies like this still use dodgy tactics to hide critical information about their accommodation just to get your booking, once they have your money they dont care!!
There are alot of nice accommodation at the Mount,unfortunately this now inst one of them!! Book with care.

โ โ โ โ โ Booked through booking.com and missed the fact that you have to pay a $200 bond. But ontop of that you have to take out your own rubbish, clean your own dishes otherwise your charged up to $90 for EACH TASK they have to complete.. not sure what "each task" meant however after reading reviews sounds like you could be charged for anything and everything so upon leaving i set the bed out of fear i'd be charged if i didn't.... i set the bed so well it made me question if the people before us set the bed this well would the hotel even bother to strip the sheets?? Gross. we'll never know i guess. Male receptionist got defensive when i questioned the bond, glad we paid cash for it though because it sounds like people have struggled to get some of their $$ back. Upon checkout though, he conveniently forgot the pin to the safe... thankfully my husband had seen where he put the $$ and it was still sitting there so we got our bond back. Couldn't relax, i felt i paid to stay and do their job on cleaning the room when we left out of fear we wouldn't get our money back. Never again. Guess it makes sense now why this was the only place with vacancies considering it's prime location. Be careful! don't rely on booking.com alone for their rating, had i seen the google reviews before hand i wouldn't have bothered. 2 stars because of location and convenience.

โ โ โ โ โ Worst customer service ever if I could give it a zero stars I would. The receptionist treated us so badly was not welcoming at all. Ruined our holiday mucked us around and talked to us so disrespectfully. When we first came in we didnโt feel welcomed at all. The lady at receptionist shouldnโt be on at all. Other than that the facilities are nice and cleaning staff are lovely!

The management and reception staff absolutely ruined our day. I have never encountered such a poor standard of customer service. The rooms are filthy. We left without staying. We did get a refund from our 3rd party provider. But I still would have paid not to stay here. Do yourself a favour and do not bother with this establishment. Avoid this place at all costs

โ โ โ โ โ DO NOT STAY HERE! The staff are very rude (couldn't care less about their customers) and the facilities are really run down and quite filthy. Wasn't even sure the beds had been changed and the bathroom felt grimy. I ended up moving to another hotel as could not bring myself to stay there and the man at reception was very aggressive. So sad as it is a great location - but the experience is not very nice at all. If you want a good experience at the Mount - do not stay there!

โ โ โ โ โ Booked a room asking for ocean view.. paid $314 and got a room which was in the motel side which was not what i paid for. Got view of road side.. room was dirty.. little outside balcony was covered in mold and dirt, the so called heated pool was freezing and decking is rotten around the pool and dangerous for kids as flooring is loose and could easily fall through.. sauna and gym was closed.. beware as you will be charged for any rubbish left behind and same for the dishes left in the dishwasher. wifi didn't work.. definitely not worth $314 a night.. biggest rip off scam ever!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

โ โ โ โ โ Not sure what's going on with the reviews?? Something smells fishy! We didn't experience any of the below. Stayed for 2 nights at the resort. Staff were nice and friendly, nothing like described below. Room was tidy and clean and of course we made sure it was the same when we checked out. The heated outdoor pool was fully usable and clean. Location was excellent within a minute distance of the mount and the beach. We received our refund in full within 1-2 days after our checkout day. Nothing to complain about.
