β β β β β The park is a fantastic place for the whole family to enjoy. We did all the activities spending the whole day there. Although there are a few things that would be nice to be taken care of. The first thing is the toilets, there are two portable non-flushable toilets that stink. We preferred to go to Foxton and find a petrol station with a loo. There are not any showers there and considering the water in the pools are filthy we needed to rinse our bodies but had to wait until we got home. In the whole area there is no water tap to wash your hands and sanitise.

β β β β β Absolutely recommended it !! We went with a group of friends (grownups) and it was the funniest experience seeing everyone fall and try. We were probably the only adults, besides a couple of parents looking after their kids, but very worth the shame.
In terms of the physical effor it was definitely challenging, a few bruises after and muscle body ache next day, but nothing major.

β β β β β Had a SUP lesson - well taught by a very friendly instructor. Found it helpful as a beginner. Admin was a bit wobbly and lesson started late. Toilets are portaloos -not so great. Otherwise it is a very cool facility with nice spaces to relax and enjoy the many water based activities. Looks like a great place for team or family events. Plan to return.

β β β β β I have been several times with my kids and their cousins. Love the place. I enjoy just watching the talent of some of the wake boarders! The staff are amazing, really encouraging and help with advice and techniques in a way that relates to their clients. There is plenty to do and is always a pleasure to spend the day here. Thanks team!

β β β β β Off the loop wake park is good and is central in north island , being nearby Palmerston, and Wanganui as well as Levin. The staff probably could of been better at explaining instructions, and maybe more friendly however other than that this place is fun, however bookings are very essential. Wakeboarding is a very fun thing to try, however it takes a while to get the hang on for most people. The facilities and changing rooms were a little dirty and could of done with a good clean. The park has a BBQ available to use, and has many areas in which people are able to sit and watch the wakeboarding occur, making it great for people wanting to watch as well as wake board. Their are also many other entertainment options, such as stand up paddling board , an inflatable course, biscituting and kite surfing, although wake boarding the main attraction it seemed. Thier are 2 courses, an beginner and an advanced, so is good to have both options for all types of skillsets thier. Open from november - March

β β β β β My son and I have had a wonderful time everytime we've been to the Off The Loop! We've done the inflatable obstacle course 3 times now and it's always heaps of fun. It's nice to grab a drink and hang out afterwards, watching the wake boarders from their lounging / viewing area. We haven't tried this yet, but perhaps next time we'll give it a go.

β β β β β Jan2022: a group visit. Pre booked, this was essential.. We did the bouncy course thing. Don't be scared off with all the possible liability readings. If you are sensible and listen to instructions, the best time will be had. Yes changing rooms are very basic, but what do you get when you go to the beach, or the river.??
Take food&drink, sunscreen. Compulsory to wear a life jacket which is great for relaxing if you get too tired pulling yourself up onto the islands. A huge range of ages were there for our 1hr, and all looked to be having fun.
Watched the wake boarding, and the double skimmer thing was being used as well. The deck had a good area for relaxing, and around the inflatable course were seating for non swimmers to watch.
