★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little train station. Cute little cafe and apparel store where you can order coffee and sit by the warm fireplace until your train arrives. Lovely lady and her cute dog are very friendly and welcoming.
Dempsey Buses were very helpful and providing us transport from train station to our accommodation and return as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vintage looking railway station in Ohakune. Unfortunately everything was closed when we visited between Christmas and New Years. Some interesting information on display on the history of the station and from my understanding the station is still being used today
