★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh WOW! This is simply the greatest kept secret in NZ. Check it out when you get a chance, but nothing prepares you for when you arrive at this incredible location. Reminds me of holidays as a kid, but in luxury, with all the fittings and a great surround!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ultimate holiday destination for a romantic getaway , family reunion or holiday , small wedding venue , base for Cape Brett walkway, etc etc .
If you like the sea , swimming , fishing , kayaking ,diving , it's on your doorstep . Water on both sides of the privately bush surrounded property ,with a boat ramp up the road 500mtrs ,and private mooring across the road from the lodge . This is a boaties paradise . But you can also fish off the rocks near oke bay for snapper etc while the kids swim in the very safe iddilik bay .
The lodge is a beautiful grand old villa restored above its original state ,with everything you need to have a very comfortable stay (can sleep 10--12 ). Also room for the kids to put up tents or play outside .Privately situated above the road , but has good parking for at least 4 cars or more . So much to mention ,so have a look at their website .but bring plenty of food because it's 35minutes to nearest shop . When you arrive you won't be disappointed , especially if you get the good weather we had . Love this place even though it's 12 hrs away from home .
Just a note to the wise ; there are one or two local residents in the are who have given the owners of this estate a lot of undeserved grief ,and that includes their bad reviews . Please do not be concerned about their comments ,as they do not reflect the truth .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We parked our car at Oke Bay lodge while we hiked Cape Brett. The owner Julian was so friendly. He offered us coffee and showed us around his beautiful lodge. It was a rainy day and he put us in high spirits. He said the hike was going to be beautiful and it really was.
