Had a wonderful time coming to Olaf's which was just across the road from the popular cheesecake cafΓ©, Fraser's. The service from the staff was really amazing, as it was quick and they came across as very friendly. The food and coffe came out really fast and I was impressed by both the coffee and the sandwich. A good place to come with friends and family at anytime.

Kind and thoughtful staff. Attentive to cleaning tables, supplying water etc. Prompt to take order for coffee and food. We were not hungry and Olaf's were ok to let us share roasted sandwich. The simplicity does not prepare one for the explosion of delicious flavour when you take the first bite. We will be back to try other menu items...

$6 for a stale muffin, $15.50 for a sandwich half the size of my hand. Much better & More affordable options nearby.

I used to rave about their blueberry tarts but I bought one today and it was disappointing. The crust was slightly soggy and the custard to blueberry ratio was so off. I just had a whole mouthful of custard and barely any blueberries. Not sure if the recipe or chef changed but it was much better before.

Have always had great coffee here until today. They got the lady with black hair whom I know for sure is not a barista making coffee. (Last time she dropped hair in my food ?) She just randomly poured over heated milk into a cup weather it’s a cappuccino or flat white. There’s no different. Can you please make sure you have a good barista making the coffee? Nobody wants to pay $5 for a bad coffee. On the other side, blueberry tart is very yum and worth a try

First time for myself today and straight away we were engaged by pleasant staff. The seating was good and the food and coffee also of a high standard. Thank you Olaf, your cafe experience stuck out for me.

Large coffee? Nope, what a joke, it was everyone else's regular sized cup and still paid a large size price. However, at least they were serving Supreme coffee and the staff member that served me was pleasant and helpful and the coffee wait was not long, well for the size, it shouldn't be. The food cabinet was not large in range but the staples were there, nicely prepared and presented. The atmosphere was clean, modern but with lots of hard surfaces so maybe not good if you don't want heaps of ambience noise. It was busy and sitting outside was pleasant in the sun. Just off the Mt Eden Road. Overall it was OK for a quick stop in or meet up but if your a lover of coffee be prepared to buy more than one cup, maybe you could bring your own larger keep cup?

Busy spot on a Saturday morning but worth the effort. Service was good and we didn't have to wait long for our meals or coffee. Bit of a diy assembly job for the smelt bagel but that's no biggie. Our group of four were all pleased with meals.
