★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought I had reviewed them for their amazing and friendly service but my bad. I had twice used their car rental services, once at the time of Christmas and New Year's and second time in month of July. The first time as it was peak time of the year, while researching came across Omega rentals and their prices seemed to be much cheaper than the others. So I booked Toyota Corolla online and went to the Chch city office, where I was greeted by a lady and she was informative and friendly. Booked it from Christchurch and drop-off at Auckland, dropped at picton and picked up again at Wellington city as the ferry cost wasn't included. I was amazed with the car's (Corolla) mint condition inside-out at that price. Second time had booked Rav4 (SUV) again with Omega becoz of cheaper price and friendly service with easy pickup & drop-off service. The Rav4 (SUV) was mint and had done less than 30k, so pretty much new at that price. Both the time had received special FB discount, thanks to Belinda. My overall experience was great, good quality cars and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend and use their rental service again, Cheers team Omega ??.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omega are very reasonable on their hire Charges. I was very happy with the service. The Toyota hatch was about 5 years old. There was a lot of scratches all over the body, this did not effect the 3 weeks we did Traveling around the South Island of New Zealand and we pretty much covered the whole South Island. Great Company I will use them again in all my up and coming holidays

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the "special" car at $21.99 per day. The car was a Toyota Vitz which was perfect for the two of us.
We drove to Akaroa from Christchurch and drove up a steep hill to go on a hike. The car was great. We were very pleased.
Very easy to pick up and return.
Would definitely recommend and would be happy to use this company again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed my car rental with Omega Rentals. They offered a clean and reliable car at an affordable price. Great value for money compared to other car rentals who charge excessive prices for their vehicles. Liked the fact they have both a City office and Airport location in Chch to pickup and drop-off. Would thoroughly recommend them for someone who wants a car to rent just to travel and visit sights at an affordable cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A year ago we hired from Omega in Queenstown and the car was very reasonably priced but we got what we paid for! Missing hub caps, radio we couldn't get to work, and generally really tired.
This year we opted to pay more and booked well ahead for a 2 year old Corolla. I checked many other companies and it was the cheapest and best value. A few months later I looked on line at their rates for the same hire and they were $55 cheaper. I emailed them and they readily reduced the price. Thank you Omega.
The car was great. Excellent condition and brilliant value. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
We will definitely use them again....and will check their price again closer to actual hire date in case it is lower than when we booked.

Genuine friendly & honest service✔ Easy after hours drop off at Airport✔
Lady that worked at Christchurch branch is a real asset to the company. A lasting impression left on me was that she kept saying "Don't worry 'bout it". Sounded like a cliche` at the time and it still makes me laugh, but it should be the company motto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Initially rented for four weeks, I kept the car for more than three months following the successive cancellations of my flights back to France. Successive renewals went very smoothly, and at unbeatable prices !!
I will not have enough words to describe this hospitality for which the Kiwis are renowned. When I had a flat tire, while I was getting my luggage down from the trunk two guys stopped, and they changed the wheel, then left so quickly that I didn't have time to thank them. It's amazing !!
You have a very very beautiful country, with very welcoming inhabitants, and being confined six weeks to Opononi during levels 4 and 3 was more of a dream than a nightmare !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired a Nissan Tiida for 2 weeks travel around the South Island. $700 with no excess was about $1000 less then competitors (although an older model car). It wasn't the Mustang I would have loved for all those twisting mountain roads but overall we could not have been more satisfied with the car and the service from Omega. Excellent value for money and the car was reliable, had great boot space and was nippy enough with no external indication that it was a rental. I would recommend Omega if you are travelling round NZ South Island.
