★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place, such a great spot and rarely populated. Perfect for a picnic as there is lots of shade, and great for exploratory walks. It's a short walk to the waterfall - well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little reserve. The waterfall is accessible via a 15 minute walk (if that) down a fairly steep gravel path then along a formed track. The waterfall is rather docile in high summer, so maybe wait for a bit of rain before you go. The water isn't crystal clear, but you can stand under the waterfall without having to swim, if you just want a good dousing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both Omeru Falls & Waitangi Falls are beautiful. The former is small n dwarf compared to the latter. Both waterfalls are short walk away from the car park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick visit at the end of a summer day. Beautiful waterfalls, easy access, there are toilets and barbecue places. Some loud group of guys had just arrived so we didn't stay long. Ok place and nice easy walk in the forest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A calm place to spend your day off. Not crowded as it's bit far away (even in the weekend) Good place to have a picnic by the waterfall or a nice swim. There are two waterfalls with easy acess. Few benches here and there to rest. Be cautious when you do the right turn to the park entrance from highway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big parking area, follow the track from gate and you'll come to a small bridge turning left goes to a big open grass area with BBQ and stone made tables and seats, when turning right at bridge its a very easy walk to Omeru waterfall, the walkway to Waitangi Falls is slightly washed out and is slippery on a wet day so be careful specially when going down to waterfalls base
