Also, wasabi is a packet and the sushi was a little tired at the end of the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit of a drive out to Porirua but I prefer this one over Lower Hutt or Petone. Yeah can't beat it, Chicken Katsu Curry or the Krispy Chicken Ramen. Friendly staff, very busy but order is ready in no time. Eat here regularly so yeah keep up the good work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing owners who have become a staple in the community. Unlike most places, they have a smaller menu but it definitely shows how much quality goes into each dish.
3 things to try: any of the sushi sets/chicken katsu and chips and spicy Fried chicken ramen! (That's the number 11 on the menu)

Their service when taking your order MAY be quick and snappy and you may feel rushed when making your decision but that's how they get through the orders so quick. And I think customers are accustomed to getting their food quickly at one sushi and would expect nothing less. We go there often because the food is delicious and we get quick service. Their chicken katsu is the most popular dish. They've done something right with that crispy chicken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much pre made sushi. But everyone queues for the Katsuri chicken donburi.
Hot deep fried chicken on a layer of coleslaw and a bed of rice or noodles. $11 for a small bowl. Trust me, that's more than enough for one person. In fact, it will feed a teenaged mum and her toddler.
Mayo and bbq sauce drizzled on top and a sprinkle of blackened sesame seeds for crunch and smokey flavour.
