β β β β β These guys went above and beyond for my boy when he was hit by a ute. Picking him up and guiding me through the process with excellent communication all the way through. Toby is 100% 4 years on now thanks to you guys. The staff are absolutely lovely and ensured the best care for Toby. I know this because my dog gets excited to be at the vets. Keep up the good work. ?

β β β β β First off, the vet surgeon who performed surgery for our boy was great. But the staff, both on the phone, or at the reception, were absolutely robotics! I feel sorry for the vet owner to have had these staff to represent your image. The way the staff communicated with customers are cold, robotic, careless and rude, most likely, they didn't realize what service means to the customers and who pays your wages girls - wake up and be professional ok? quit the job if you couldn't care less about how owners feel about their beloved pets! you are working in the industry that requires empathy! would not recommend anyone to them because of the terrible customer service there!

β β β β β Reception staff lovely but actual vets themselves are lacking people skills. Very rude has made me look around for a different vet which is sad. They had taken great care of my 2 previous dogs

β β β β β Esmee has looked after our boy Genghis Khan, who is a bit accident prone to say the least, very well. Excellent communication, always discussing options, and the nurses are a pleasure to deal with as well, especially Karin and Diana. I don't get the bad reviews, we have had nothing but good experiences with them and our cats, and this goes back 8 years! Sad to hear Richard has left, but the rest of the team make up for this loss!
Just updating, but still a 5 star review. Unfortunately due to staff shortage amongst the vets, they are no longer open on Sunday. But I would still not take my boys anywhere else.
First time dealing with Liesel yesterday and despite being the only vet available and fully booked, she still agreed to see my male cat immediately due to serious concerns about his bladder. She was amazing as were the nurses.

β β β β β We have attended both the Parklands and Riccarton branch, they were both great. We loved the Riccarton branch, very friendly and respectful people on the desk and great vets. We moved and continued to attend there due to the service. Then the Riccarton branch closed, so we were asked to attend St Alban's.
At St Alban's the receptionist is not very good at her job, and makes you feel like you're an annoyance. She is rude, talks over you, and it's an all round frustrating experience. When I enquired the approximate cost for vaccination she was rude and talked about how she doesn't have time, but then told me the costs. Then when I tried to ask about them she interrupted me and told me she's too busy.
I then called up a different vet, they told me the costs and explained the two vaccines; they were also cheaper. If you're a receptionist working in a vet clinic then your should know the basics of most services provided, including approximate costs and in the past this has always been my experience. Or they offer to get a vet to call you back.
When I called back to cancel the appointments and get my notes transferred to our new clinic, the receptionist at St Alban's even complained about having to do this for me, and said she'd do it when she had the chance. It's not my fault she can't do her job well and has poor time management skills, so I don't appreciate the comments or the rudeness.
The receptionist is the first port of call in a vet clinic, and for some people having a good receptionist makes a difference. Not everyone can be a good receptionist; this lady needs a new job as she's not a good one.

β β β β β We used to absolutely love this vet clinic, but our favourite vet left and we feel that everything has gone downhill since. Staff aren't friendly or accommodating at all. After a few bad experiences we are now looking to change vets. Would not recommend.
