★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Keep an eye on the prices while paying listed price of curry on the menu is 18.50 and charged 19.99 for curry.
For kingfisher strong listed price on menu is 10 charged 11, not much of a difference but it is wrong charging higher than listed price without informing customer..as we pay GST separately on TOP.
Curry was bland with no taste, hadto send the breads back to re cook bread was raw..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow this place is amazing - not just for delicious flavour but also for great service and surrounds. The butter chicken was fantastic and LOVED the cheese naans. Great value too, the price is VERY cheap compared to surrounding restaurants

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased the lunch time special for butter chicken curry, naan bread and rice. 5 very small pieces of chicken in the curry and mainly soup is what you will receive, bread a little tough and chewy, as per previous review ~ over charged for additional "strong" kingfisher beer. If you wish to take away your leftover meal you will have to pack this yourself after they give you your own container. As a huge fan of Indian food this place is not worth your time and I would heavily suggest visiting roti chai in wigram/halswell for exceptional authentic Indian curry with plenty of dairy free options included accompanied with excellent (non invasive) customer service.

We ordered here regularly several years ago but owners have since changed and apparently the kitchen too. Very disappointing.

Specially lamb chops and Chicken tikka was great.. will recommend to everyone.. keep up the good taste. Can’t end without appreciating the service and smiles on every staff members face. very friendly servic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As somebody who eats A LOT of Indian at many restaurants, I can unequivocally say that this was the worst Indian I have ever had. We ordered 3 different curries and they were all tasteless and watery. The other two people I was with strongly agreed. I'm sorry, but the food needs to improve. Maybe take notes from Samairaz Indian Restaurant in Christchurch, they make amazing cherries. Hope this improves.
