★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great authentic Indian food. My favourites are the dahi papdi and chilli honey cauliflower - they are delicious!! The dosa is the best I've had in Christchurch.
The paneer and spinach curry was a bit too sweet for my taste but others may like it.

I Can't tell any issues with the food they serve, But the Customer Service is of the worst quality that I have ever experienced from an Indian restaurant. The lady whom I think is the owner, is an absolute rude person, she shows absolutely no respect, from my perspective that is only towards the people of their own race/nationality.
1)Okay well you talked about why I made the report now, it is because I had an issue last day, staff asked me and my friend to stay out as the table was reserved, well they could have put a sign on the table or could have asked in a gentle manner.
2)If you want to know whether I have been coming to your restaurant for the last two years - Yes I can show you the invoice details on my account.
3) And please stop talking about the guts, it's only because we don't wanna create a problem, as doesn't know how you're gonna behave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to try incredibly delicious and authentic Indian food this lovely little restaurant will not disappoint. Don't let the size of the business deceive you. They punch well well above their weight in a city with a lot of Indian restaurant options. Not only are their dishes irresistible they are very healthy in comparison to other Indian restaurants we have tried. The egg plant salaan and yellow lentil curry we had were prepared to perfection and they make some of the nicest masalas we have ever tasted. They are a small business but gee whiz they seem to be popular and it's no surprise why. You really do get more bang for your buck! A heavenly little treasure hidden away in New Brighton. A must try for and Indian foodie lover.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a lunch chicken jalfrezi (medium hotness) takeaway. Packed with vegetables and meat. Extremely yummy flavour, not too much salt. Great portion size for $8.95. Very friendly man behind counter.
11/10!
