About Pacifica Home & Garden Store
Growing up in the Bay we can't help but have an appreciation for our beautiful environment and the impact our business has on it. To make our business as low impact as possible we:
We recycle everything that is able to recycled including food waste which is composted or given to a local pig farmer.
Our coffee grounds are bagged up for folks to collect for their gardens.
Where possible we reuse the packaging our products arrive in to pack our customers goods safely.
Where possible we source our products locally here in the Bay or the Waikato from plants and coffee to garden sculpture.
Our cafe and shop packaging has been chosen because it can be recycled and we are currently on the hunt for a safe alternative to single use plastic bags for our garden products (if anybody has any good ideas on this please drop us an email as we'd love to hear folks ideas).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a lovely place to visit, and we particularly love having lunch in the Cafe. You can eat inside or in the garden which has plenty of shade (either umbrellas or shady areas).
I particularly enjoy the Kumara hash stack as a gluten free option.
The garden centre is full of colour and quirky little areas. The gift shop has lots of lovely bits for the girls or for the home.
Its just a lovely shopping and dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I go to White Ginger every week. It is the best cafe in Tauranga. We have the eggs benny and the lemon syrup cake every time and every time it is exactly the same, perfect, and arrives within 5-10 minutes. The garden surroundings are gorgeous. We have tried other cafes but always end up coming back to Pacifica, because it's the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and service very good. Shop very nice. Feel there should be a gate at the playground. Or a gate beside where the container is - as my 1year grandson took off this afternoon and I discovered that there is a creek there. As I am unable to move as fast as I should, thankfully he ran into the back of the kitchen and staff caught him for me. Phew
