★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to call it my local but staff turn over is horrendous. Seems they get rid of people just before the three month rule (or different timeframe) kicks in. A bit suss. Same experiences where if you turn up near closing you get told to buggar off. Coffee truck at the beach a far better option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked in 5 mins before closing time and was abruptly told that they were shut before we could even explain we only wanted takeaway coffee. Meanwhile there were still people sat down enjoying their food.
So we went and gave our money to Sandbank instead ?
Gather looks like a nice place but maybe we won’t go back to find out…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place and a great choice for a break. We visited with our four year old and had a great time. Delicious muffins, super tasty big breakfast and excellent turmeric latte and all served with a smile. Definitely coming back and recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place with great food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have held a private event at Gather and they also catered my Delivered workshop. On both occasions; the service and attention to detail was impeccable. The staff sure know how to create amazing and inspired dishes that catered to all the needs of both groups. I could not recommend them more. Steph’s hand picked the most brilliant staff and the menu is faultless. The fact the staff provided my husband and toddler with a free coffee while they waited for the catering was the absolute icing on the cake. A+++

Good selection of tasty food including vegan options, though portions small for the price. Staff were cavalier with none wearing masks. Music too loud to communicate easily. Coffee served in tiny glasses, so all in all could be more generous and customer focused.

Order medium hot chocolate, large flat white super hot, both in takeaway cups, fresh carrot cake to eat in, raspberry peanut butter slice... Took a little too long, 10 minutes, for everything to be delivered to our outdoor table. Thank goodness wasn't too cold this morning and the sun was shining. Carrot cake fantastic. Coffee super hot!. Hot chocolate for my 8-year-old fantastic.. And came with two marshmallows! Thank you Gather Papamoa.
