Confinement Escape Rooms are committed to ongoing environmental sustainability. We strive to operate the business always considering the impact our actions have. We constantly work to improve our systems and processes to minimise the impact we make on the environment.
Our key initiatives are:
- Providing good clear easy to use systems for recycling for staff and customer use
- We recycle paper, plastics, glass, metal, and other office waste such as ink cartridges & batteries
- We minimise waste wherever possible
- The bulk of our prop purchases are made from 2nd hand shops
- We focus on upcycling wherever possible
- We make responsible purchase decisions wherever possible to avoid excess packaging and waste
- We buy NZ Made where possible
- We are aware of our environmental footprint, and opt for Zoom meetings over physical meetings wherever possible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Cigar Lounge was very good, not too easy and not too hard. The sliders were a bit frustrating to get right but everything else was great.
Jordan was a legend and explained everything well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed the 'Camp Amityville' room. Unfortunately we were booked in for 9.30am and no one arrived to open up until at least 10.00am. We arrived at least 10 minutes prior to booking as instructed, so it meant we waited a total of 40 minutes to begin our game. (4 stars for the entertainment) (Minus 1 star for the wait).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome friendly staff and good puzzles! Shaun and Kae were awesome staff to interact with! The orange dots were a bit distracting and the Lost Villa room was a bit stuffy in summer but an overall great experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Third time at Confinement Hamilton and it continues to be one of my favourite activities to do in Hamilton. Shaun and Kae at the front desk were so welcoming on arrival and had some great banter about the hats we had worn for international hat day. Can't wait for my next visit with you guys!
