They were very accommodating and helpful.
I wish them all the best in their new venture.
My Queen Suite Exec room had all the basics covered. It was nice and spacious. This was the last room left!
Sadly, the spa bath wasn't pumping, but I still enjoyed a nice deep relaxing bath. (Yes, they knew they had inherited this issue and we're awaiting a break in their full house to be able to sort it out.)
Quaint windows opened generously to let in cool breezes, and a large double door onto a small deck allowed the room to cool in the evening breezes.
The desk fan was a welcome bonus in the Auckland summer heat.
Although it was so full, it was very quiet and peaceful.
Nice looking pool - I wished I had time to lounge in it! ?
Very close to Greenlane Clinical Centre (Hospital), the race course across the road, and One Tree Hill domain.
These night shots show the cute ceiling windows that bring nature in. Lovely touch.
A bit hot midday I would think, but fantastic to watch the sunset or storm through! Or just enjoy stargazing on a clear night.

โ โ โ โ โ Mattress was saggy and I could not sleep well. Pillows were too big and I could not use it without getting a neck ache. So I rolled up the black bed cover and use it as a pillow. There was also a big cockroach in the room and it was on the room cupboard door frame all night. I took pictures of the cockroach and the saggy mattress.

Noise was an issue but this was dealt with and well under control, would stay there again for sure ? ?

โ โ โ โ โ Absolutely loved staying here, very comfortable and warm. Was nice to have a clean and tidy area inside and out. Front of house staff member and maintenance person was very friendly and nice. Will definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

โ โ โ โ โ Good place to stay. Fit for purpose. Beds were lovely and comfortable. Great shower pressure. Loved the body wash, hand soap and shampoo/conditioner dispensers. Was warm. Just one thing when checking out there was no one on reception when we checked out and had to just leave the key on the desk as our Uber had arrived. Might we suggest a key drop box.

โ โ โ โ โ The room was quite dingy. Certainly needed a painting job . Paint flaking off the walls. Lightbulb in kitchen needed replacing obviously wasn't checked. Wasn't much cutlery. Curtains were not matching.
Not a very nice room to stay in. I was there to go to the eye clinic and quite stressed. Didn't help me at all. Will not be staying there again.

โ โ โ โ โ Two stars are for the housekeeping and comfort level of beds.
There is a lot to be improved though. Lack of privacy from indian reception lady who on 3 occasions knocked ever so softly once on the door then proceeded to unlock the room door with her key without warning or notice. I had caught her 3 times. Felt like there was no respect in customer privacy. Feared leaving, they would be snooping in our room once wed gone to the supermarket.
Also a leaky ceiling which we then notified them and no one had come to fix it throughout our 4 month stay with our 4 kids in a emergency housing placement. Wouldn't recommend if you don't like people randomly walking in..

โ โ โ โ โ Freezing cold and damp family suite. Cut our trip short as the room was so cold and damp it made my mokopuna sick. Staff great but accommodation appalling. Huge cockroach on arrival, freezing cold, nothing dried so towels and bedding felt damp, spa bath pipes produced brown gunk, walls had water stains, bedding dirty, previous guests rubbish still under a bed., just to mention a couple of things. Do not use this accommodation, especially the family suite which is NOT fit for purpose. Waiting for a full refund. Will never return and encourage families to look elsewhere for somewhere to stay. Hugely disappointing.
