Pat Menzies Shoes is the underground destination footwear store that’s been operating since the early 70's and is the original stockist of Dr Martens, Converse and Vans.

β β β β β Ordering online is a complete hassle. Ordered my first pair in November and my second a couple of weeks ago in April. THEY SENT ME THE WRONG SHOES BOTH TIMES!! Like I ordered black Dr. Martens and got fuzzy animal print slippers kinda wrong. Oh my so frustrating! Had to spend time asking a friend to use their printer so I could send it back, had to drive to the post office in town, spent easily a couple of hours trying to fix the mess caused by this store.
Both pairs were gifts for my partner so I got them delivered to a friends house for secrecy, because of this it took a few days after being delivered for me to collect them and notice they were incorrect. When contacting the store the service was average, both times the person on the other end of the phone made me feel uncomfortable for not calling immediately and made me feel like I was running late. Calling the store is rather annoying tbh, had to phone 3 times before someone would actually talk to me about an online order. Overall, the idea of buying another pair of shoes from here makes me feel tired.

β β β β β I had never purchased shoes before shopping online with Pat Menzies. I have to say I was blown away by the amazing experience shoes from Pat Menzies. The staff went above and beyond ???The customer service was absolutely flawless ( Natasha and Danny) and delivery super super quick. I accidentally selected the wrong size, however the staff were amazing in helping me have these exchanged for different sizes, the whole process was flawless. Will definitely be recommending Pat Menzies to friends and purchasing from them again soon.

Online service was marvellous compared to lots of small business as well as fast delivery during holiday time and packaging everything went smooth. These people are serious about their business. The absolute BEST brands @the BEST price in the whole of Auckland.The staff were sooo amazing and helpful and not stuck up or mean like some of the shoe shops I've visited,the shop was busy on the 23rd Dec as expected,but the two guys vibed off each other and made all the customers experiences good ones,including mine.i walked away with the most amazing pair of Dr Marten 1460 Green boots and an absolute bargain price and I'll treasure them forever.slightly hidden from the main drag on Queen street,look for the signs across the road from DunkinDonuts in the arcade.
