★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my phone in to get the screen replaced. It worked for a few weeks then the touch screen stopped working. I removed the screen protector they put on and it still wouldn't work, so I took it in. They kept it overnight and it started working, they were unsure as to why, but they told me not to put a screen protector on it. The touch screen stopped working a few weeks later but started working the following day. A few weeks later the touch screen stopped working and I took it back in. I was told that the screen was cracked and that was why it was not working and therefore not covered by their warranty. The screen was not cracked, it was frozen and the touch screen was not working. I was told it was cracked and I could pay $100 to get it replaced. The touch feature never worked properly for more than a few weeks at a time after they replaced it so I did not have them replace the screen again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am well and truly disgusted with the way the staff at this phone zone store speaks to and handles customers. I was in with my husband who had previously gotten a cracked screen replaced here, then told that the problem with the internal LCDs in the new screen was caused by a crack in the new screen (there is no crack in the screen). He was told there was nothing that could be done as it is his fault the phones LCD is broken. We were told all we could do is phone Head office and ask them to ask their employee to fix it as the employee will not do it on their own.
The way that this employee spoke to my husband and I was appalling and I hate to see that we have not been the only ones that this is happened too. I really wish there ways a way to give less than 1 star :(

I have had my screen replaced on the 19th of May 2022 for my iPhone xs max. All was good with the phone until a week ago when it started having problems with the LCD screen and touch screen. Upon taking the phone back today to Phone zone Northlands they proceeded to tell me that it's my fault that the phone is broken as there is a crack in the screen. There is no crack in the screen. After conversing with the employee, they told me that all I can do is ring head office on (033482353) and after we have gone there then if head office say it's okay they will happily change the screen. I asked why this suddenly is happening to the LCD screen after getting it replaced when the phone didn't have this problem before hand. I was told it is a pressure issue and that nothing can be done about it because it wasn't their fault. I disagree due to the original problem of the phone was a cracked screen (dropped by accident on kitchen bench) that I wanted replaced. Surely after getting a completely new screen installed, there should be no problems and if there is a problem arise, it should come back on the technician who fixed the device.

My partner took their phone to get the screen fixed as there was a moderate crack. The lady gave little detail to what she was going to do with the phone. When the phone was returned the screen looked completely different (different coloured boarder) and the phone was held together with rubber bands which she said to leave on to two-four hours. There was also glue on the edges of the phone. This cost $400.
Two weeks later and the screen will not turn on. It’s been charging for hours and vibrates to indicate it’s charging but the screen is completely black.
I in no way recommend going here.
