Omelette only 2 eggs and is $18.50 retail which is quite pricy. The presentation could be a little better too. But the ambience make up for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. Such potential but seriously bad. 2 hour time allocation. 2 drinks and bread served only in that 2 hours. We had to ask for service multiple times. Had paid for additional people… unable to get refunded but didn’t get the food or drinks for those additional. The place was half empty… slowly the place filled and the lack of staff (although they were lovely) was more apparent. I understand there is a shortage of staff globally. But this was beyond that. Its just a shame that a bottomless brunch was so limited. And the drinks so watered down. I’d try for al a carte but not bottomless brunch again unfortunately. A waste of money. Our 2 hours was extended by Half an hour and food rushed through at 2pm when our booking was 12. It was not adequate. Guests left at the cut of 2 hour allocation virtually unfed. A piece of bread and a watered down vodka each. Very disappointed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 hour without food, 2 empty glasses - noone bothered to come suggest a refill.. additional drinks take forever… staff look a bit lost - guests looking out for the waiters - not actually a great place! Best to avoid on special days like Valentines - this is purely an after work drinks place, unfortunately nothing more.

I had lunch today at this restaurant bar. However upon entry I was not greeted by the Maitre Dee who in fact was the owner. She saw me and just walked past me dismissively saying " excuse me".It made me feel, that my money wasn't good enough. First impression was very unwelcoming, especially as I had noticed her courteous manner towatds new patrons entering establishment.HOWEVER, I motioned to a lovely female waitress, who ushered me to a outside table and provided amazing service. I had asked her WHO was the lady at front of house, and she stated it was the owner. I had wanted to order prawn ravioli, but there wasn't any in stock and so settled for the fish with a green salad. It was Ok and if it wasn't for the waitering staff I would've left earlier. Nonetheless I left a $20 tip for that lovely waitress who encouraged me to come back and enjoy the cocktails. ( I usually enjoy the restaurants and eateries down at the viaduct as I Live by Albert Park, however I wanted to find an establishment closer to my apartment) The two STARS are only for the waitress and the stunning textured, Graham Morton red wine. IN TERMS of the Owner, I question her
" SELECTIVE practice/Agenda" in Hospitality and I "call her out" to respect diverse ethnicities and demographics entering her restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, lovely ambiance and good service! I'd recommend doing three courses if you're feeling quite hungry or adding side dishes to go with your main. It doesn't look like they do dessert anymore (I couldn't find the menu online). They started bottomless lunch this year in winter and it was really great...perhaps maybe too great!
Had dinner with a friend here on another night and the burger and chicken tasted good. Sitting outside can be a tad chilly so just be prepared and have something warm just in case. Sitting outside is a good vibe though so do it if you can get a table!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service (only) for the bottomless brunch was slow - compared to other eateries, Pilkingtons is ranked at the bottom.
The staff are welcoming and friendly but the service (for drinks to be topped up) needs work. Staff should know when a customer is low or has finished their drink ask if they would like a top up, instead of the customer trying to get a staff members attention, raising their hand or calling out for a top up - this cut into the two hours allocated sitting time, not cool... my friends and I will not be returning anytime soon!
