★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a peaceful place to camp under a canopy of pine trees, with lots of campervans at site, many friendly blokes who would join you to do a fishing trip just few steps away on the banks of Pukaki canal.

Attractive lake ,lots of parks amongst trees for shelter,only 5 klm approx to Twizel
