★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bright sign in the widow drew us in... Fools. Stodgiest FnCs I've had in a long time. I was actually struggling to find the fish within the thick layer of fat soaked batter. Seems the fillets were sliced half as thin again to double profits. Chips were average. Fish burger was reportedly similar in quality though with a little more crunch perhaps. Oh and the crab stick, that was gluey, not sure there was any natural seafood in that thing. Also no family specials deals packs. Staff were friendly enough though, even singing along to her music which was endearing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish n chips were Ok. The fish was fairly thin, and I found a piece of wood in my hotdog?. The food was acceptable. I got served before those who had ordered before me. Always get quick service when you are a large biker, and behave like one. Give it a try.

This shop has been serving the area with great food for quite a few years.
But for me I would have to say the lady of the shop is the draw card. Super friendly and such a lovely person.

Visited on Anzac Day. Decided to go for 2 Tarakihi fillets, batted hot dog and chips. With a cost of $39. I though oh well they must be really good, how wrong I was! The fish was two tiny pieces and a soggy mess, dripping in fat. We needed a spoon to eat it. This was completely un edible. Was going to take them back but we had already walked to the park. Left them on the beach for the seagulls. Very disappointed ☹️
