Piritahi Hau Ora holds multiple contracts with DHB, NDSA, MSD & Tamariki Oranga. Piritahi Hau Ora shares a management and governance team with its other organisation Waiheke Medical Centre under the umbrella of Piritahi Hau Ora Trust.
Piritahi Hau Ora also holds quality accreditation in NZ Health & Disability standards, Mental Health standards, Alcohol & Other Drug treatment standards and Ministry of Vulnerable Children Oranga Tamariki approval.
Accreditation
Piritahi Hau Ora is regularly audited to ensure we maintain the highest standards, we are committed to continual professional development of our staff and services. We are very proud to say we are a Cornerstone Accredited Centre since 2004, as well as a Q-Audit Accredited Centre for the past 12 years.
Aiming for Excellence is the quality standard for General Practice clinics in New Zealand. CORNERSTONE is the assessment programme that assesses clinics using the Aiming for Excellence standard.
The programme is coordinated and assessed by the Practice Assessment Team at the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
Q-Audit has been operating since 1993 as Health Audit and in that time have established a reputation for comprehensive auditing and quality certification services to the medical, health, disability support and other human services.
We are a member of the Auckland PHO which enables us to offer subsidised visits to our enrolled patients.
We are also VLCA, or Very Low Cost Access funded, which enables us to provide low cost services.

The nurses are not only helpful but also respectful of your needs and listen with an open heart and an open mind.
The doctor has an outstanding and impressive way of explaining your condition to you in a way that is easier to understand,that I found he was so super helpful and also helped ease my anxieties. The facilities were always very clean and very tidy.
The location was in the most perfect place with the most stunning views of the beach.
A very relaxing clinic with wonderful people.
A definite clinic to enrol in.
