★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strongly recommend not using Pit Stop Greenlane.
Required WoF inspection before weekend, was told I could leave the vehicle with them and they would fit it in. Got a call a few hours later, explaining the vehicle was all good, apart from wiper jets not working. They go proceed to diagnose, charging $85 to open up guard, saying they don't have time to go further or parts to fix, and are unable to resolve the issue. They then suggest they can issue a gratuitous warrant if I commit to paying them to fix the issue early next week. Not confident in their ability to resolve the issue efficiently, I decide to not take their offer and instead drive to my mechanic the following week (on the shore) who fixed the wiper jets in less than an hour. I then call Pit Stop on my way back from mechanic to get the re-inspection completed. They say they are too busy and I can leave car with them, and then proceed to say actually no - come back next week. So despite having paid them a total of $139.92, they are unwilling to serve me for 5-10 mins to complete the WoF I had already paid them for. This is pathetic as far as I'm concerned. I go in the next Monday as requested, they made me wait a further 45 minutes - and managed to put the wrong date on the WoF. Couldn't be bothered waiting any longer, and left absolutely disgusted with their utter lack of effort. Both Lance and the old guy were dealt with, and neither showed integrity - lost interest as soon as they were paid.

No nasty surprise expenses which I've had at other places. Everything was up front, explained fully, and done quickly and efficiently. Gives you a quote and it ends up cheaper than he expected and so bills cheaper. Therefore I see honesty and integrity, a rare find now adays. A breed of Kiwi I admire most.
