★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Midweek stay beware, train starts up at 6am then at 6:30 the trucks deliver/ dump their loads of metal - we were parked at back right and the noise was deafening

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tidy. People consistently coming in and out of park which is nice. Welcoming sign in shed. Veggie garden looks well taken care of. Large shed looks like a great space to hang out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty average place to stay, but it's a good stop over near(ish) to Wellington. Proximity to train, public toilets. Plimmerton is a nice little village worth a look a short walk away.
The park itself is noisy (industrial neighbours) and of course windy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good stay at an extremely busy campground. Very safe. Found Plimmerton to be a fabulous village w great Indian restaurant, good hairdresser and the water just around the corner. Enjoyed our stay and will come again as close to TePapa and ZEALANDIA.
