★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool spot to park up and watch the waves, go for a walk along the beach, eat your fish and chips, feed the seagulls and go for a swim/surf. Wahi Beach is a great holiday spot. Plenty of nice bush walks too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice flat sandy beach heaps of space tide in so space even larger tide out. Easy walking from carpark. Plus boat launch area on hard sand only. Seating and rubbish bins provided, short walk for ice reams.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEAUTIFUL. But not for freedom camping. The NZMCA app currently shows this as a spot to freedom camp, but signs onsite say otherwise. Signage possibly a little confusing, there MAY be one possible sign that you could interpret allowing motorhome overnight, butttttttaaaaa……..50/50 whether you’d wake up to an infringement notice. If yr just here to use it as a normal person, park up, go to the beach. BEAUTIFUL.
