★ ★ ★ ★ ★ stayed in the lodge with a group of motorcyclists last weekend.The publican and his family and staff were amazing.Our package deal included dinner,accomodation and breakfast and the food was first rate.A really great deal.Highly recommended.........11 out of 10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by after visiting Waihi Falls. A great late lunch/early dinner. Both the Kiwi burger and Chicken burger (with bacon of course) were really tasty. We appreciated they let us take the dogs into to back outdoor area too. Lovely place to stop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local pub close to the Waihi Waterfall. Friendly staff and great pub grub. The food is served promptly and the beer is cold. They even had a good house Rosé on ice. We had the platter - a lot of food for two - would be great for 4 at lunch time. Definitely a destination in itself!
