A history of innovation

Post Haste has been looking after New Zealand's courier needs for over 40 years now, beginning as Armourguard Security way back in 1977. We were one of the first courier companies to blaze a trail in New Zealand, and have been innovating since the 1970s. Since then, so much has changed, yet at our heart we remain the same – a Kiwi business with strong Kiwi values of doing it right by our customers.

In 2020 we made the decision to re-fresh the brand logo in an effort to not only refresh the image but to refresh our business attitude by investment in our customers, operations and innovation technology that supports both.

The fern, an iconic symbol that represents our commitment to New Zealand business and the people that grow them. We would like to feedback our dissatisfaction with Post Haste. They did not deliver the items on the day they picked up the items, nor the day after. They did not leave a card on our door, instead left it on a β€˜red door’ somewhere, not ours. When I rang today around 1000 to chase up where the items were, I was told that they could not be delivered now until Monday. Therefore, I went to the depot to pick them up which sort of defeats the purpose of having them delivered!

Posting the review based on two times using Post Haste. 1) Ordered a pick up from my place via website. No-one came after a week. Made a call, got "ye ye, will get it sorted mate". No-one came again for two weeks. Made a second call. Finally after that they made the pickup. 2) Ordered a delivery. The courier left the card to pick up from the office because noone was at home. But there was someone at home. So I had to drive and pick it up. I could as well just skip using their service for 10 bucks and just pick up my goods from the vendor myself. Very unprofessional. Hope to see improvement. But for now will avoid it.

If I could give no stars I would. A parcel that was sent on the 24th of Sep, it is showing as picked up on tracking with no update. I contacted asking for help, had one nice person reply by referring me to someone to help. That was a week ago, the people I was referred to have now ignored 3 emails. I am seriouspy disappointed. I hope they pay for the package lost as it was for my son and he's not happy that he doesnt have it after waiting so patiently. What a joke of customer service.

I had no issues with north Harbour branch, good tracking reasonable delivery time considering level 4 lockdown. A shame this courier has no on line facility to leave a parcel , unfortunately they do have an form you down load and fax back and they will send you a barcodd sticker. But who has a fax nowadays. Otherwise no complaints.

I've received parcels from Post Haste on multiple occasions. All my experiences have been pleasant. When I have called the customer service, the waiting times have not been long at all. Also the customer service representatives are always friendly and efficient. The only thing is that I have booked re-delivery of parcels before on the website, and while the website allows you to pick the delivery slot, sometimes the parcel may arrive earlier, so it's important to keep up to date with tracking the parcel. I was also advised by the customer service that they are running behind due to COVID-19, but my parcels arrived in a timely manner, which is great!

I ordered something from Silverdale while living in Albany. The package went missing for 10 days, talked to 4 separate customer service agents who all promised to look into it and get back to me, never received a call. I ended up walking into the warehouse and the package was right there, the lady was not very friendly and didn't even offer an apology. Terrible speed and customer service, if I was a business I would use someone more reliable. Post Haste should be renamed Post Delay

Parcel arrived in Nz on 20 th March, Post haste received this on the 23 th of March, up to now no delivery. Phoned yesterday and they promised delivery today. Still nothing. Please do not use them. Fedex should not use this courier

Great operators but dysfunctional process for packages that are held up... I purchased a skateboard as a gift... The tracking said "call us, the package is being held here". No answer despite being within work hours on a Saturday... I called about 7 times chasing to understand why the package was delayed and when it might come... Operators were great but obviously there were issues on the floor and communication isnt good... The most annoying thing is that i was promised a call or movement about 4 times and every time no one called back or moved when they promised... Hey we'll call back before 5 (no call) It'll move today before 5! (no movement) We'll leave you a message to update by 12 (no message...) So tonight as i write this i was promised at noon today that the item would be with us today by 530... I could have gone and picked it up today. I have no idea why the package was delayed a week... It's probably going to be here in the morning... Im thoroughly unimpressed with the service... So yeah I'm extremely unimpressed and disappointed.
