★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great wee spot with a beautiful ocean beach. Hard to get a good flat parking spot with it being Easter weekend but we made do. Safe spot appears to have a good strong community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to zone out and listen to the sound of the surf. Not crowded. Only one small store for supplies. Surf is very rough however. Swimming is possible, but no life guard. Be careful of strong current & undertow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful little park with walking access to the beach, also for quad bike's etc. The sea was extremely calm though this could have been due to the large number of quakes which were being recorded at or around White Island at the time. A number of people out fishing from the beach, either using a torpedo long line or surf casting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overnight Camping for 3-4 self contained vehicles on the grass area at the back of the carpark. Toilet is about a 450 meter walk away opposite the shop/takeways at Seabreeze park. Good views of the beach and nice quiet spot. Locals were all friendly.
