★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some works to restore the station are on at the moment so I had to do the turn to join the station with my big suitcase. But such lovely people and staff there to help me with my suitcase and tickets.

1. There is a public bathroom, it is contained on the bus station side.
2. The platform now has lifts.
3. Construction is completed.
4. Trains are currently slowed from here to papakura due to track conditions, are expected to speed back up by the end of next month (april 2021).
5. Information pertaining to electrification of this portion of the southern line is scarce but it appears they are starting it soon.
6. It is an old station building with no staff onsite, however so is remuera, parnell and takanini.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s not the most appealing station, but the people working there are really accomodating, forgot my mask, and they lent me one! Train was loud and a bit rickety; but fast, and got me to papakura on time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a pretty good train station but it does take quite a while to arrive at Papakura because the tracks between here and Papakura haven't been electrified. But other than that it's a fairly good station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent station. I'm not a resident of Pukekohe, but it seems like the only connection to the rest of Auckland. Will be a lot more accessible once the electric trains can run here.
