★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here a couple of months ago and were really pleased with the experience. My wife wanted a particular drink but they didn't have it so the owner went off to the bottle store to solve the problem. Tonight under level 3 we ordered click and collect and totally unexpected the owner put a bottle of Italian red in at no cost. He said it would go well with the steak. It is our birthday but he didn't know that. The food is nice and well priced by Auckland standards. This place has become our favorite local.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent coffee!! Got my coffee fix here today, still in Auckland lockdown level 3, so only open for takeaway. Super happy I tried this one and was rewarded with superb coffee and excellent service. I have a slightly unusual coffee order and it's surprising how many cafes fail to follow simple instructions, but not this guy. Top marks...

Wonderful service from the welcoming and entertaining host and all staff, superb meals - our group chose widely and all of us were very satisfied. We'll happily return and have already recommended it to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was fantastic, thorough and thoughtful - the chef’s even thanked us as we paid. The food was exactly to order, delicious and hot. The team went above and beyond to accommodate my hot chocolate request, for a large bowl, rather than a standard cup. In short: fabulous and attentive. Worth every minute, and dollar. !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed a lovely lunch here over the weekend. The owner is lovely, he was friendly and very personable which contributed to the experience. Coffee was really good, about as good if not better than other coffees shop in the area. Food was tasty and reasonably priced - no dramas on that end.
