★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The majestic beauty that surrounds Queenstown Hill is worth the slow slog of a walk uphill. I am in my late 30’s and not very fit. I passed people of all ages, younger and older than me. I would consider the track to be moderate to hard. Depending on your level of fitness. Close to 1.5 hours up and 30mins back down. I then spent around 40 mins revelling at different viewpoints along the way. Which is a must. Spend a decent amount of time taking in the surroundings. This is a walk you will not regret.

I’m a rather heavy, unfit man. I stopped to turn around and head back on at least 50 occasions. However, I kept going! And I’m glad I did. The 360 degree views at the top was well worth it!
Sure there were a few basic fellas up there taking pretentious posed pics, but on the whole it was beautiful, peaceful experience. Good place to meditate ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get your hiking boots on and take some water as it's not easy , definitely 2 hours up and down ,so be prepared for a bit of an up hill push to reach the top , but definitely worth it ❤️?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first instance, you could think this is a nice 'lunch walk'. However, after you've been started with the track, shortly after your start you will reconsider the 'lunch walk' and conclude it is a quiet though but nice walk. Overall, it is a lovely walk to leave the city behind you for a while, doing some 'exercises' and, above all, enjoying the nice views af the summit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the Queenstown tourism hot spots without spending a penny! Walk is 2.5hr return (although I fast paced it in 1hr) and is extremely steep. Not for the less physical abled person. Going up is hard, going down harder on the knees. Definitely take a drink especially if you are not familiar with the place. Glad I found it and will definitely be returning! The weather was great going up but the rain arrived on the way down which can make going down more interesting.
For those interested it was over 3,000 steps uphill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice walking track to the summit of Queenstown Hill. Can be a little steep at times but the views are worth the hard slog once you get to the summit. There are information panels along the track and a couple of pieces of art including the basket of dreams just below the summit.
