★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dishonest, rude and utterly inconsiderate. Had a work emergency and was set to arrive a little than expected - just to have them cancel on me last minute about an hour away from arriving. No consideration at all, no refund even though I prepaid. TLDR: DO NOT BOOK THIS IF THERE IS ANY CHANCE YOU MIGHT ARRIVE AFTER 7pm. They will cancel on you and not give you back a cent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a superb little hideaway Quirky Woods is. I could hear nothing but the birds and the surf. A blissfully serene break with lovely hosts Charlotte and Simon and their gorgeous Great Dane Mojo. It is hard to find a little spot where you can unwind in just a weekend but this piece of paradise has it all. Thank you, our stay was just perfect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just what we needed to recharge the batteries.
This is a "farm" and have 3 options to stay in - you stay in the forest, halfway up the hill or in the sleep-out next to the house. Although no wifi at the furthest cottage, the phone signal is still strong. The cottage is tiny but full of character. 12 minutes walk to a very nice beach. Awesome place to be away from the normal traffic, motel life and city life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place we slept on a trip to New Zealand. The cottage has its own climate, it is wild, quiet there, only the birds singing. The service is very nice and their "tiny" Mojo dog is very friendly and keeps company. I highly recommend this magical place. We would love to go back again :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: I had a wonderful sleep in Cozy cottage. Falling to sleep to the sound of ruru/moreporks was incredible and then waking up in an orchard - wow. An easy 20 minute drive to Papamoa for coffee and shops.. Negative: Nothing not to like. I’d loved to have had a kettle in my room but I can’t complain for the price. Next time I will bring a takeaway mug so I can carry my cup of tea to my room more easily..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't really know what I was booking I the beginning, but the place exceeded my expectations. Was perfect level of comfort and cosiness to be honest. The natural bush around was spectacular and Charlotte was an amazing host. Felt private and we were well looked after. Have recommended to others and will continue to.
